What to expect as a training agent

Hiring apprentices

You’ll receive a weekly OOW (Out of Work) List and RFE (Ready For Employment) List.

Apprentice wages

$21.54/hr starting. Increases with advancement.

Your role in training

Provide OJT supervision. We handle classroom instruction and administration.

Program support

JATC monitors progress, handles classroom scheduling, partners with you to ensure apprentice success.

Requirements to become a training agent

Your company must meet the following:

  • Licensed electrical contractor
    CCB license for 1+ year, same name/number

  • Non-union / merit shop
    Non-exempt status required

  • Full-time paid electrical supervisor on staff
    Licensed signing supervisor

  • $500 registration fee
    With completed training agent packet
